A fantastic place to stay. the room was comfortable and clean, with a powerful shower and a comfortable bed, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The food was good, particularly the breakfast. There's a great bar down by the river, great to watch the sun go down drinking a gin and tonic, be careful crocodiles lurk along the waters edge. Boat trips along the river are worth doing, huge numbers of Elephants, hippos and the bird life is superb.

Gem in Kasane! Great place to relax and get in touch with nature without losing the luxury of a resort-like set-up. Staff were terrific and accommodating, birdlife around the property is great and loads of animals walking the grounds. Must do.

An excellent place to stay for a week, taking the game drives and river trips. Guides knowledgable and helpful. The setting on the Chobe River is superb. Lots of wildlife in the grounds. Safari rooms recently refurbished and are lovely. Breakfasts very good lots of choice, evening meals also buffet plenty of choice.

Experience of a lifetime. Everything about Chobe is extraordinary. On arrival, we were met by the customer relations manager; she was super. Made us feel welcome and talked us through everything, couldn't do enough for us. The lodge itself is top-notch, well maintained, lovely facilities, clean, air-conditioned, large spacious rooms. The game activities were amazing, we saw so much (despite being warned that it was off-season) we saw pretty much everything we wanted to see. I would highly recommend this place.

Faultless. Every want and need taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. Fantastic setting right on the banks of the river with a raft of activities available at very reasonable prices. This was a treat of a few days as part of a larger holiday in Africa for us - wish we had allowed for more time there! Incredible lodge right on Chobe River at the edge of the national park. Amazing daily river cruise - I would recommend booking these through the lodge (we did three on Jacana). Great breakfast. Chef KG at the Bush Lodge gets a special mention for the incredible meals he cooked every night and the additional service he provided.

Chobe Safari Lodge is simply amazing. From the incredibly warm and welcoming staff, the amazing food, the beautiful sunsets and abundant wildlife. This lodge is a must if you are considering a trip to Chobe and Kasane. Loved every minute!.

A wonderful piece of land right tucked away at the end of Kasane. Situated right on the bank of the mighty Chobe River, this is an excellent hotel with a wide variety of accommodation and activities on offer. From luxury to lively camping, this lodge has it all!

We spent three weeks in Africa and traveled to a number of outstanding places and had unique experiences at every place, and this was no exception. Chobe Safari Lodge was lovely and extremely comfortable, with kind and helpful staff. Our spacious Safari room was on the second floor and was perfect to enjoy the sights, sounds and wildlife. We took two sunset river cruises, one in a larger boat and one smaller: this is a must-do activity, only sorry we didn’t also book a morning cruise. Morning game drive was amazing and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. The Lodge is just a short drive from Kasane International Airport, and the town just a few minute’s walk from the lodge offers a large market including a small pharmacy, and a number of other conveniences. If you’re looking to see a large variety and number of wildlife from a gorgeous setting with all the comforts of home, look no further. Lots to do here plus a variety of nice places to eat, including a lovely place right on the water. During our travels we also stayed at a few remote lodges (glamping) deep in the bush that we loved, but it was also fun and relaxing to enjoy a little luxury while still being surrounded by wildlife and beauty. For good reason, this is a popular place: expect a lot of people, compared to being in a remote lodge. However, in our opinion, it did not diminish the experience whatsoever.
