Our beloved Chobe Safari Lodge is scheduled for a makeover!
Chobe Safari Lodge has been a traveller favourite for decades thanks to its breathtaking wildlife encounters, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable riverfront setting.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards and have renovations scheduled from 8 January 2024, which are due for completion in the third quarter of the year.
RENOVATIONS SCHEDULED AT CHOBE SAFARI LODGE
How will renovations affect the safari experience?
The dining area, jetty, sunset deck, and block of River Rooms will temporarily close along with reception and the safari shop at Chobe Safari Lodge.
However, our famous Chobe River cruises and game drives will continue without interruption, and delicious meals, activities, plus shopping are still available at the beautiful Chobe Bush Lodge.
Part of the campsite will also remain operational during the revamp.
Noise levels and building disruptions will be minimal, confined to the furthest eastern wing of the property, away from guest activities and services.
Boats will launch from a jetty in the campsite area near the iconic Sedudu Sunset Bar, which is open daily between 08h00 and 22h00. Dinner will be available from 18h00 to 22h00.
We will also have a new immersive outdoor dining adventure beside the Chobe River at the Sedudu Sunset Bar and Grill.
All arrivals will be welcomed at the Chobe Bush Lodge reception, and operations will continue normally, with dining available at the buffet area and poolside terrace. The activities office will assist all guests at Chobe Bush Lodge in booking tiger fishing, boat cruises, game drives, and so much more
