Today there are two travel hubs. Chobe Safari Lodge sits on the banks of the Chobe River, with the tranquil Chobe Bush Lodge next door within walking distance. .

ACCOMODATION IN CHOBE

Everything you need to know about Chobe Safari Lodge and Chobe Bush Lodge. 

Both Chobe lodges are an easy ten-minute drive from Kasane International Airport and the entrance to the celebrated Chobe National Park in the town of Kasane. Daily road transfers connect to the region's most iconic sights, such as Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
 

Chobe Safari Lodge has 32 Safari Rooms, 20 River Rooms, 8 Classic Rondavels all facing the Chobe River, 16 spacious family rooms plus a sheltered campsite featuring 23 stands with power points. Set deeper into the bush beside the park, Chobe Bush Lodge has 38 spacious luxury en-suite rooms and 4 large double en-suite family rooms.

SAFARI ROOMS

Sip coffee on the river-facing porch and watch warthogs parading across the lush lawns overlooking the Chobe River. It’s an endlessly entertaining animal parade between adventurous activities!

RIVER ROOMS

It’s easy to savour the Chobe's rumbling hippos and African fish eagles from our River Rooms. This wing sits closest to the main complex of the lodge and faces a secluded indigenous riverside garden. 

BUSH ROOMS

An open-plan design ensures a light–filled en-suite room. Enjoy the invigorating air and distant view of the park wilds from the terrace, or sink into the bathtub for a soak after your game drive.

FAMILY ROOMS

Ideal for teens or multi-generational tips, there are four family rooms that are exceptionally spacious and consist of two separate bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities for privacy.

CLASSIC RONDAVELS

These original rooms of old enjoy fantastic Chobe River views and have been lovingly restored to honour their heritage status while providing modern amenities to our safari-loving guests. All units have Wi-Fi, TV and air-conditioning.

RIVERFRONT CAMPSITE

Enjoy the best sunset view in Kasane! There are several level, shaded campsites and three well-tended ablution blocks across our beloved campgrounds. Let’s find your perfect pitch.

 A shaded riverfront terrace at Chobe Safari Lodge has plenty of tables for à la carte lunch or poolside nibbles beside the mighty Chobe River. Scrumptious breakfast buffets and dinner feasts are served in the central dining room at Chobe Safari Lodge in a towering thatched area adorned with fine local basketry and baobab sculptures. This atmospheric heart caters to every diet ranging from traditional beef stew and exotic barbecue dishes (have you ever tried crocodile tail?) to wholesome, healthy vegetarian dishes and gluten-free alternatives. Equally ample dining areas over at Chobe Bush Lodge offer a fine à la carte selection of dishes, from local fish to flavourful pastas and brilliant Botswana steaks.

THINGS TO DO AT CHOBE SAFARI LODGE

The lush Chobe Riverfront, or Serondela section, is the most accessible region of the Chobe National Park and supports abundant wildlife. Enjoy close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, water-based antelopes, buffalos, astonishing bird watching and much more on a boat safari with an ice-cold drink in hand. We also provide private boat hire, seamless Victoria Falls day trips to Zimbabwe, fishing excursions and scenic flights.
